Data analysis
Analyzing the already archived data has helped customers to increase the quality of archived objects. The analysis provides answers to the following questions:
- Does the application really save the requested retention period
- Which meta data information does the application store
- Are all applications using the correct pools and profiles
Understanding the archived data well may help when finding problems in the environment. The knowledge about stored data can also be used to develop custom applications. As an example: reading application data without the application into a file system.
